Grade 3W

It has been a busy couple of days for the Craigs. We have been up to some fun stuff with some great people!

Sunday afternoon we walked the 5k Run for the Cure at Centennial Park here in Moncton in support of our wonderful friend Shawna and her mom Kathy. It was such a fun experience and just feeling like we were doing something to help was a great feeling. The place was packed, but I know our little group of 7 made all the difference in the world. Let's all be praying for Kathy and her family as she heads into the great unknown with an even greater God in the lead.

Monday was a crazy day at Hillcrest school for both of us as we continue on in our internships. Brent was busy running in the Terry Fox run and then planning and leading his middle school classes in an orienteering activity around the school grounds. My grade three class had a day of fresh air as we went outside for science class, ESPT (extra-special playtime), and then walked around the lake for Terry Fox. I think we are both pretty exhausted now that the day is winding down, but looking forward to a strong first week of October!

I hope you are all having a good Monday and getting ready for Thanksgiving!! I know I can't wait to go home to the island and see everyone, and then to Amherst for a no-oven turkey dinner. Happy Autumn to Everyone!
